  • Lyndsy M. Gieche, D.V.M.

Dr. Lyndsy Gieche developed a passion for veterinary medicine while growing up in her father’s equine practice in Wisconsin. Her volunteer work with therapeutic riding facilities, Horse Spirit Society on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and other veterinary clinics helped to nurture her love for animals and the detective work and science incorporated in veterinary medicine. She completed her undergraduate curriculum at the University of Findlay in Ohio, earning her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a degree in biology and animal science, an emphasis in pre-veterinary medicine and a minor in chemistry. She then moved to Columbia Missouri to complete her veterinary schooling at MU-CVM.

After veterinary school, Lyndsy completed an internship at Bend Equine Medical Center, a large equine referral practice in Bend, Oregon. During her time there, she further developed her passions for equine general practice, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery. Lyndsy enjoys all aspects of equine medicine, but has particular interests in ophthalmology, internal medicine and emergency rescue.

In her free time, Lyndsy enjoys exploring the great outdoors. She loves hiking with her Rat Terrier/Blue Heeler cross Shutout, horseback riding every chance she gets, whitewater rafting, playing a variety of sports (especially soccer), and a multitude of other outdoor activities. Her hobbies include photography, poetry, ceramics, pottery, sketching, painting, and glass art.

    Todd Gillis, Blacksmith Farrier

Todd was born and raised in Menomonee Falls, WI. An adept horseman, he began his journey with his own horses at the age of five. Todd began his apprenticeship in 1981 and has continued to stay at the top of his field by attending the Laminitis Symposium, the International Hoof Summit Symposium, the American Farriers Symposium and many hands-on, small group clinics over the years. He is an accomplished blacksmith and farrier with an exceptional therapeutic trimming and shoeing skillset.

  • Jager M. Gieche, IT Technician

Jager's interest in computers began during his elective web development course at Mukwonago High School his sophomore year. During his senior year he became the first high schooler to earn a web development internship at Generac's International headquarters. Jager then attended UW-Whitewater earning a BBA in Information Technology with an emphasis in Network Security. Over the course of his time at UW-Whitewater he also worked as a Helpdesk Technician, Lead Tier 2 Technician, American Family Insurance IT Intern and an IT Consultant. Jager's passion for computers and time spent inside has given him a unique appreciation for the outdoors. When he isn't working on computers, he is hiking, survival camping, snowboarding, or out riding his motorcycle.
