Jon M. Gieche, DVM, FAVD EQ, Diplomate AVDC EQ is an experienced equine veterinarian, and the only Equine Fellow of The Academy of Veterinary Dentistry (FAVD EQ) in Wisconsin. In addition, Dr. Gieche is a Board-Certified Equine Dentist in the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC). Dr. Gieche is the only clinician in WI having earned both of these prestigious degrees. Dr. Gieche shares his passion for Equine Dentistry with only seven other Equine Fellows of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry (AVD) in the world. He has been practicing in southeastern Wisconsin since 1986, where he has a busy dental referral, stable-call and hospital practice.

Dr. Gieche designed and built Kettle Moraine Equine Hospital and Regional Equine Dental Center (KMEH-REDC), and his mobile veterinary unit, specifically to provide state-of-the-art equine care. At KMEH-REDC, you and your horse will ALWAYS be seen by a clinician who is informed regarding your horse's case. We have regularly scheduled rounds to inform all our staff about our current patients and their needs. This assures excellent continuity of care by a highly trained professional during all routine and emergency visits.

KMEH-REDC’s mission is to bring the highest quality care to our referral, in-house and ambulatory patients. We are happy to provide your horse’s routine and specialized medical care at your stable or in our state of the art equine hospital. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
